تأثير مکمل آستاگزانتین بر عملکرد شناختی و افسردگی در بيماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع دو: یک کارآزمایی بالینی دوسوکور

چکیده

روش‌‌ها: اين مطالعه بالینی تصادفي كنترل شده دوسوكور، بر روي 44 بيمار 30 تا 60 ساله مبتلا به ديابت نوع 2 انجام شد. بيماران به‌طور تصادفي به مدت 8 هفته، روزانه 8 ميلي‌گرم آستاگزانتين (22 نفر) و یا دارونما (22 نفر= روز) دریافت کردند. تغییرات افسردگی و عملکرد شناختی به‌ترتیب توسط پرسشنامه افسردگی بک (II) (BDI: Beck Depression Inventory) و پرسشنامه عملکرد شناختی (MSSE: Mini-Mental State Examination) ارزیابی شد.


نتیجه‌گیری: به‌طور کلی، مصرف روزانه ۸ میلی‌گرم مکمل آستاگزانتین در طی 8 هفته، می‌تواند اثرات مثبتی در بهبود عملکرد شناختی بیماران دیابتی داشته باشد.
