fa عوامل مرتبط با انجام رفتارهای پیشگیری‌کننده از پیامدهای زیانبار نور خورشید و تنش گرمایی در زائران اربعین: کاربرد تئوری انگیزش محافظت Factors Associated with Performing Preventive Behaviors against the Harmful Effects of Sunlight and Heat Stress among Arbaeen Pilgrims: An Application of Protection Motivation Theory آموزش بهداشت و ارتقاء سلامت education health and promotion كاربردي Applicable <div style="text-align: justify;">مقدمه: از آن‌جایی که کشور ایران و عراق در اکثر فصول سال در معرض تابش شدید آفتاب قرار دارند، زائران پیاده‌روی اربعین از جمله گروه‌های آسیب‌پذیر در برابر آثار زیانبار نور خورشید و تنش گرمایی هستند. بنابراین، پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین عوامل مرتبط با انجام رفتارهای پیشگیری‌کننده از اثرات زیانبار نور خورشید و تنش گرمایی در زائران اربعین با بهره‌گیری از تئوری انگیزش محافظت انجام شد. روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی در سال 1402 بر روی 300 نفر از زائران پیاده‌روی اربعین مراجعه‌کننده به موکب‌های شهر اسدآباد که به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شده بودند، انجام گردید. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌های اطلاعات دموگرافیک و سازه‌های تئوری انگیزش محافظت جمع‌آوری شد و سپس با استفاده از آزمون‌های همبستگی Pearson و Linear Regression در نرم‌افزار SPSS مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: رفتارهای نوشیدن مایعات و پوشیدن لباس‌های سبک، رنگ روشن و گشاد به ترتیب با 3/81 و 7/55 درصد دارای بیشترین فراوانی انجام و در مقابل، استفاده از کرم ضد آفتاب، عینک آفتابی و کلاه نقاب‌دار به ترتیب با 7/21، 3/38 و 0/45 درصد دارای کمترین فراوانی انجام در بین زائران بود. نتیجه تحلیل Linear Regression نشان داد که سازه‌های پاداش درک شده (172/0- = β)، هزینه‌های پاسخ (169/0- = β) و خودکارامدی درک شده (139/0 = β) پیش‌بینی کننده قصد انجام رفتارهای پیشگیری‌کننده از اثرات زیانبار نور خورشید و تنش گرمایی بود (05/0 > P). نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به وضعیت نامطلوب انجام رفتارهای پیشگیری‌کننده از اثرات زیانبار نور خورشید و تنش گرمایی در بین زائران اربعین، تأکید بر اهمیت انجام این رفتارها و همچنین، توجه به هزینه‌ها و خودکارامدی درک شده در طراحی برنامه‌های آموزشی جهت افزایش قصد انجام رفتارهای پیشگیری‌‌کننده از اثرات زیانبار نور خورشید پیشنهاد می‌گردد.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background: Since Iran and Iraq experience intense sunlight for most of the year, Arbaeen pilgrims are particularly vulnerable to the harmful effects of sunlight and heat stress. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the factors associated with preventive behaviors against these harmful effects among Arbaeen pilgrims, using Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2023 on 300 Arbaeen pilgrims attending processions in the city of Asadabad, who were selected using a convenience sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire that included demographic information and Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) constructs. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 18 statistical software, employing Pearson correlation and linear regression tests. Findings: The findings indicated that the behaviors of drinking liquids and wearing light, light-colored, and loose-fitting clothing had the highest frequencies, at 81.3% and 55.7%, respectively. In contrast, the use of sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats with masks had the lowest frequencies, at 21.7%, 38.3%, and 45%, respectively, among pilgrims. Linear regression analysis further revealed that the constructs of perceived reward (β = -0.172), response costs (β = -0.169), and perceived self-efficacy (β = 0.139) significantly predicted the intention to engage in preventive behaviors against the harmful effects of sunlight and heat stress (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Considering the unfavorable situation regarding the performance of behaviors that prevent the harmful effects of sunlight and heat stress among Arbaeen pilgrims, it is recommended to emphasize the importance of these behaviors.
