Brucellosis is a common zoonotic disease in Iran. One of the main modes of transmission of this disease is through the consumption of raw and uncooked milk and dairy products. KÜREMES is one of the most popular drinks among Turkmen shepherds, which has the potential to transmit brucellosis disease to its consumers. However, it is suggested that this method of transmission be included in the registration forms for the disease. Additionally, it is necessary to provide extensive training to the shepherds through various communication channels.
