Background: Breast cancer remains the most common malignancy in women worldwide and is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality. Mammography is as the most accurate method for early detection of breast cancer. Despite evidence that regular mammography screening can reduce breast cancer mortality; many women fail to receive mammography. This study aimed to determine the factors affecting mammography in employed women 35 years and older based on Theory of planned behavior. Methods: This cross-sectional study is a descriptive analysis that was conducted (1388) on 320employed women. The information gathered by the questionnaire MBAQ questionnaire and data were code, analyzed using statistical tests-test and Logistic regression. Findings: The results of the study show that there are significant differences in average scores Subjective norm،intention and perceived behavioral control between the groups that did mammography (27%) and the group that did not mammography. Logistic regression analysis showed that significant predictors of to mammography behavior are Subjective norm, intention and perceived behavioral control. Conclusion: The results show that Subjective norm, intention and perceived behavioral control are predicted Mammographic screening of women. When mammography for women to understand and accept it as a norm going to do it and do it under their own control, mammograms will be doing.
