Background: Organizanional structure leads to determination and coordination of organization activities. Organizational structure accordance with organization’s goals and strategies play important role in increasing of efficiency and effectiveness. In this study, we described structural and contextual dimensions of organizational structure and the relations between them in Zahedan Khatam Hospital.Methods: A descriptive and quantitative study was conducted and 25 questionnaires were distributed among managers of Khatam Hospital. Analysis of the data was performed by SPSS software using different tests.Findings: KhatamHospitalhasmechanicalstructure with high formalization and complexity and low centralization. There is a significant relationship between structural and contextual dimensions generally. Goals and environment dimensions had significant relationship but culture dimension had not. Goals dimension is the most important in terms of contextual dimensions.Conclusion: Decentralization is a key point in the hospital compared with others. The results aboutorganizationalculture confirm this idea. There is a similarity between this study and others about the significant relationship between structural and contextual dimensions. We recommend to determine and describe the main goals andstrategies to all employees for increasing efficiency and effectiveness in hospital.Key Words: Organizational structure, Structural dimensions, Contextual dimensions, Hospital
