Background: Obesity and increase of waist to hip ratio (Android obesity) is effect in cardiovascular disease and type2 diabetes. Increase of fatty tissue special visceral fatty tissue depended to cardiovascular disease, glucose intolerance, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and important in diabetes and metabolic syndrome. In most case with insulin resistance and diabetes accompanied by obesity. Methods: A total of seventy-one women with type II diabetes in two groups had been under the treatment with Omega-3 capsules and the control group with placebo capsules. Age, high, weight, waist and hip circumference observe. After 8 weeks mean of information that say above take. The data were analyzed using Software SPSS18 and appropriate statistical methods. Findings: Mean of weight, BMI, waist, hip and WHR before and after intervention was not significant (P>0.05). But change before to after in tow groups was significant (P<0.001). Conclusion: Result show that omega3 decrease weight, BMI and WHR in patient with type 2 diabetes but the period of study is short and changing after intervention was not significant but change before to after in tow groups was significant .Should do more research with long time .
